Legal Proof was established as a business dedicated to providing a legal document delivery service and is continually growing through our reputation for close, personalised working relationships with all of our customers. For seven years, our Director, Mr SBJ Buys worked in the industry and got to know the clients’ requirements and could see the many pitfalls of the legal delivery business. This is when he decided to start a company which could meet and exceed expectations and provide the service which was not being met by current providers in South Africa.

With a network of strategically located sub-contractors who act as our messengers, in South Africa’s major cities, as well as outlying areas, we are able to hand deliver to most addresses within South Africa.

Legal Document Deliveries

Upload your legal document on our website and it will be automatically scheduled for delivery. Legal documents are typically delivered within 10 working days. *Contracts often require both parties to choose a domicilium citandi et executandi (often referred to simply as domicilium or domicile). A domicilium is a Latin legal term meaning an address nominated or chosen by you in a legal contract at which you elect to receive a summons or any legally required notice. It must be a physical address and not a postal address. All legal notices, like a Section 129 enforcing a credit agreement, may be forwarded to this address. Proof of dispatch is sufficient evidence that the document was delivered or the process duly served. A court of law will consider this evidence when deciding the matter and if satisfied, may grant judgment.
